Primary 7 have settled in very well and are looking forward to the year ahead. They are all performing an excellent job in looking after the new Primary 1 children and ensuring they settle into their new environment. P7 are preparing take a more in-depth look at the effect of Plastic Pollution in the World this term.
In the coming weeks they will be engaging in lots of preparation for their residential trip to Ardmay House in October. This term P7 have taken an in-depth look at debating and linked it to discursive writing to embed some life skills as they prepare to move on to a new chapter in their lives. The class has will continue to participate in the Daily Mile this term which will lead to improved fitness levels throughout the year. During the next few months Primary 7 will focus on the following RME themes; Covenants, Ancient Universities, The Assumption and The Holy Spirit (7 Gifts).
Primary 7 are preparing for the First Friday mass of the academic year on September 7th whereby they will be responsible for the readings, prayers and gifts on the day.
In October Primary 7 will travel to Ardmay House for their weeklong residential trip. This will be a wonderful experience for all the children involved and they will cherish the memories for years to come.
This term P7 have indoor PE is on a Tuesday and outdoor PE is on a Wednesday. Children should be prepared with appropriate clothing each day for the Daily Mile.
